Move-out Error - "BP category does not fit the data in category 1"

Hi Experts,

While doing move-out, i am getting below error:

BP category does not fit the data in category 1

Regarding this, I have maintain configuration "configure field attributes per BP Role". seen other thread also but all are not clear.

Kindly provide the resolution in detail.

Hi Ankur,

Check the BP. This is a data error.

From the error it looks like BP category is "2 or "3" (Organization or Group) but the data has been provided in the fields for BP type 1 (Person). Check and correct this and you should be through.

I have maintained only mandatory fields in BP (BP category- organization) but getting the same error.

Hi Ankur,

it depend on which CRM version you are using. if it is CRM 7.0+ , then you might need to clear the below fields in BUT000 table for ORG type. Please check if any of the below fields contains the values then initiate that and then try again. Thanks.

"for BP type 'Organization' : NAME_GRP1, NAME_GRP2, NAME_LAST, NAME_FIRST, XSEXM, XSEXF, XSEXU, NAMCOUNTRY, LANGU_CORR, NATIO, BU_LANGU, EMPLO"

Hi Experts,

In EHP 6 component, Central Business Partner has implemented with more stricter checks to the fields of table BUT000 dependent on the business partner category.

Due to this check, we were getting an error when executing Move-out in the system.

Now we have cleared the following fields to resolve this error:

MC_NAME1 (Name 1/last name)
MC_NAME2 (Name 2/First name)
NAMCOUNTRY (Country for name format rule)
LANGU_CORR (Correspondence lang.)
NATIO (Nationality)
