Hi All, In same project structure we are using different currency for each wbs (for Ex under project we had created 4 level of WBS ) my question is can we able to plan cost with their updated in WBS currency itself or currently will update from CO area please update on this. Regards Ramesh
Each WBS can have it's own currency (object currency) The usual implementation is that the WBS will adopt the currency of the assigned company code, but it doesn't have to. You have to configure FI properly to allow the WBS and Company Code currency to be different.
When you have this you can certainly plan in the object currency with no problems. The plan values are converted to other currencies (CO Area currency) and saved accordingly. You specify which currency rate to use in planning in the Planning Profile.

Ramesh,
Agree with Ken, on top of that in the Planning Profile config OPSB
- Check the "Object Currency" radio button
My suggestion is to use a planning exchange rate type i.e. "P" since planning is not done everyday and if the rate you use doesn't change everyday, makes life easier for the users.
Regards,
Dave
