partial or overdilevery quanity in automatic batch determination

Hello SD Experts,

we have Configured automatic batch determination in our business scenario.

but we are not able to do partial delivery quantity

when we Change delivery quantity system gives error.

Delivery quantity is less than quantity of 2 Nos assigned to batches

Message No. VL360

Diagnosis

The delivery quantity is smaller than the quantity assigned to the batches.

for ex i create a sales order for 2 quantity and try to deliver 1 quantity system not allow to change.

Please help me for achieve partial delivery quantity.

Sameer,

In the sales Doc, check the delivery settings.  VA02 > make sure the "Complete Delivery" checkbox is unset.  Also, check at the item level:  select the item > Goto > Item > Shipping.  Check the fields "Part.dlv/item" and "Max.Part.Deliv"

i have check  sales order no Complete delivery has not been set.

Also in delivery partial delivery allowed.

I believe this is not possible in standard SAP as system would not be able to decide from which batch the quantity to be reduced.

Hi Sameer,

When you would want to reduce the delivery quantity and if there are several batches being picked in a delivery, then how the system will decide from which batch the quantity to be reduced?

If you want to change the quantity in delivery document overview screen, Click on the [+] icon to display the batches, select and delete the batch lines first, then change the delivery qty.

Hello Aman,

I agree with you but minimum 10 to 20 line item has  been change at delivery user does not want to delete batch split on delivery it wants to change after delivery quantity has been changed.

Please suggest it is possible or not.

Please select line item and click on the button batch split there you can change the qty manually then come back do it picking and save it.

Thank u for reply....

But my sales order have minimum 50 to 70 line item with  4 to 5 batch split item .manually changes on per line item it is not possible.

our client business is ice cream and client deliver ice cream in 4 hours.

user is not able to do manually batch split due to bulk sales order processing.

Please advice.
