Project based Material Reservations with Budget Availability Control

Hi Experts,

I went through various blogs on the same subject but unfortunately neither of them were answered.

We have a business requirement to apply availability control as soon as we create material reservations against any activity under the Project.

I am looking for any kind of solution, either standard or customized, which should enable the system to apply availability control and consume the assigned budget.

Please guide.

Zain,

Your best shut is a budget availability user exit. In the standard, this functionality is not there Please check SAP Note 91036.

I have checked the note but it does not suggests any user exit or enhancement.

Correct, that is my suggestion. The note says, SAP will not provide the functionality that you ask for in the standards.
