Hi Jimlee,

When starting the install script use:

sudo bash ./install.sh

It can be the install script is not marked as executable and starting with bash instead of sh this will solve this problem.

Hello,

Hostname ubuntu assumed to be SAP compliant

Ubuntu Linux is not supported... Check the PAM to see the supported Linux distributions / versions.

thanks for your answer.

I can't login at the PAM at the moment. do you know where i can sign up?

I checked the operating systems provided with the document http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-67351

It states:

This edition runs on a Linux 64 Bit version. It has been successfully tested on:

  • SUSE SLES
  • Fedora
  • RHEL
  • Ubuntu and Debian

There is also a step by step document available which is written especially for ubuntu linux.

http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-67352

But when i follow this doc i get the above errors

I hope you can help me further

Hello,

OK, that is a "developer edition" system, not an actual SAP Netweaver system to be used on production environments.

Maybe can help you, then.

About logon to PAM, you need an SAP Marketplace user ("S-user").
