We are using SP09,Revision 96 HANA for our landscape. We have opened the HANA cockpit but unable to see Manage Databases app.
We need to start/stop Tenant Database but unable to do so as we get no option in HANA studio.Need your help.
Hi Roy,
Thanks for updates,
Seems you have done with below points to stop/start multitenant DB.
Executing SQL Commands
ALTER SYSTEM START DATABSE <DBNAME>
ALTER SYSTEM STOP DATABASE<DBNAME>
OR BY
MANAGE DB APPLICATION OF SAP HANACOOKPIT.

Hi Roy,
Have you tried with SAPCONTROL to stop scale-out sap Hana systems from the command line?
Stop Multiple instance with instance number:
/usr/sap/hostctrl/exe/sapcontrol -nr <instance_number> -function stopsystem HDB
Status of all hosts in the system:
/usr/sap/hostctrl/exe/sapcontrol -nr <instance_number> -function GetSystemInstanceList
Note:
HDB Start or HDB stops only starts and stops the local host.
Regards,
Krupal.
Has your admin user the appropriate role assigned? (DATABASE ADMIN)
