Migrating 7.0 to 7.31 dual stack

Hello Experts!

We are planning to migrate a SAP PI 7.0 to 7.31 dual stack. I know there is the Migration Tool for directory objects! But what about the repository? Is there a tool too? What would happen to objects like "Message Interface" that do not exist in 7.31 ? What about "Operation Determination" objects that only exist in 7.31.

you can do first Manual File transport for design object..and then Migration tool for moving Configuration.

Will the manual file transport work? I mean ... what will it happen when I try to import a "Message Interface" (that is one kind of object that does not exist in 7.31)? Will the "Message Interface" be automatically replaced by a "Service Interface" during the file import in the target 7.31 system? What about "Operation Mapping" ?

Yes Message Interface will convert to service interfaces while importing to PI 7.31.
