Hello,

Please attach the dev_disp and dev_w0 trace files to this thread.

There is an option for you to attach the files, so you don't need to paste their contents at the thread itself .

Kind regards,

Isaías

hi Isaias

Please find the files in the work directory attached

There is no dev_w0 file created, but in dev_disp.new I notice the following:

*** DP_FATAL_ERROR => DpCheckMyname: rdisp/myname=mwpltfrshad001_PH1_11 exceeds 20 characters

*** DISPATCHER EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN ***

I confirmed with SAP note 611361 that Maximum length of the hostname should be up to 13 characters.

Currently the hostname is 14 characters (mwpltfrshad001), I will advise a hostname change to max 13 characters.

Thanks and Regards

Willem

Hello Willem,

You have figured out the problem yourself.

Once you have changed the server hostname and adjusted the profiles accordingly your system should start.

Amerjit
