Hi All,
We have a requirement from a client where GRC Requests need to be sent to the end user at the end of the path for access confirmation and the request should get auto closed in case its open for seven days with no activity at end user stage.
End user stage can be achieved somehow using GRAC_User stage however Is there any way we can get the requests auto closed in the GRC system.
Best Regards,
Umesh Kandikonda.
Thank you Alessandro and Prasant for your inputs and sorry for the delayed response!
As rightly pointed out by Prashant,we cannot maintain escalation to next stage in the last stage of a path.
The end users here don't have access to mail box in our scenario hence the need for the request to be routed to end users and auto closure in case of no-confirmation.
Since auto closure of requests seem to be difficult , we are now thinking of an alternative i.e. Notifications using ESS Portal i.e. instead of mail notifications , notifications should be sent to ESS Notifications. Is this solution feasible guys?
Regards,
Umesh
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
First of all, if end user does not perform any activity,
if its just for his information, notification always sent.
As said by escalation by Alessandro, that would require development.
escalation cannot move to next stage if it is last stage.
Hence you need to make modification.
if you can give complete idea why you need it, perhaps we could provide some better solutions.

Prasant

Dear Umesh,
define an escalation that moves the request to the next stage. If your approval stage is the last stage, they request should be closed automatically. Escalation can be set in minutes.

Alessandro
