How to transfer unix files to Opentext?

We have tons of DART files created on Unix OS level.

We want to transfer those files to Opentext, at the same time we want to make sure that

SAP built-in Dart tools can still access those files after transfer.

Would you please tell how to do it?

Thanks!!

Hi,

You need to perform DART Archiving in your landscape.

please go through the below mentioned sap note

Thanks for your reply.

My problem is that I need to transfer previously created DART files from UNIX OS to Opentext.

Could you please point out a way?  That note does not have info about this.

Thanks!

Hi,

Please go through below transaction codes over DART archiving

FTW0 - Tax data retention and reporting

FTWP - Settings for data extraction

FTWQ - Settings for data segments

FTWY - Maintain data file view

FTW1A - Extract Data

FTWF - Data extract browser

FTWL - Display extract log

FTWH - Data extract views

FTWN - Display view log

FTWC - Merge extracts

FTWD - Verify data extract checksums

FTWB - Retrieve archived data

The main tcode is FTWP where you will configure all the settings related to DART files and Opentext server.

You will have to configure FILE path and link between SAP and OpentText server so that the files written on OS (Unix/Win) will be moved to Opentext server.

Our current setting is exactly like what you said so we have no problem to shove NEW DART files to OpenText.

However, how to push previously created DART files from Unix to OT? I checked the FTWP but have no idea how to do it.   Thanks!
