Hi,
I've just patched my installation server to NWBC 5 pl10 and for most users the update works fine. But for some users I get an error that the system can't find the defined path:
The system cannot find the path specified.
<ErrorCode>0x80070003</ErrorCode>
<Dest>C:\ProgramData\Application Data\SAP\NWBC\NwbcOptions.xsd</Dest>
<Source>\\xxx.xx.x.xxx\sap_inst_serv\NwBC\Configuration\NwbcOptions.xsd</Source>
<State>Install on Update</State>
Component $NWBC 50 Files is in error. It has not been successfully installed.
I get the error on a Windows 8.1 and a Win10 machine.
According to documentation the directory should be:
Administrator configuration, such as user settings are located in the following folder:
This is also correct, %ALLUSERSPROFILE% point to C:\ProgramData\SAP\NWBC which is a path that exists.
So I don't understand why the update tries to put the Option files in C:\ProgramData\Application Data\SAP\NWBC\ and why it then would'nt fail on all machines?
Any help is appreciated.
BR
Sam
Hi Sam,
Since this is a very specific query, and since there has been no response from the community, I would strongly recommend that you open an OSS ticket. This is the most efficient way to get support in this case.
Best wishes,
