Hi All

I use

- Eclipse SDK  Version: 4.2.2  Build id: M20130204-1200

- SMPAgentryClientFramework-Android-70.9.0.zip

- Agentry Editor Plugin 70.9.0.6

when I try to Test Enviroment for SAP Work Manager in the Eclipse.

It ask for login and server address and then show Transmit log window and then it hangs on the line (Server debug requested)

--

Logging user into server

(Server debug requested)

--

It worked when Server debug was OFF, but now i can't switch it off as all menus in Test Enviroment are disabled.

After about an hour the system give the the next log

Logging user into server

(Server debug requested)

Checking Transmit Configuration

This client is not logged into the server (2)

Try this:

1) Close the editor

2) Go into the Workspace the to the Project folder

3) Delete the "Test Environment" folder

4) Restart the editor and test client

5) Connect to the server

and It hangs on the same step.

Ok, so this was a lot harder to find that I expected.  I had to reach out to one of the developers to find where it is stored.  I will be opening a request to have this option enabled all the time in the Test Environment view.

Of course if you already have a sync'd test client then you can simply login and uncheck the option from the debug menu drop down.  However, if you reset your client the option becomes unavailable.

The setting is project specific and stored in an eclipse property file in the workspace.  While this workaround worked for me, it is only intended for emergency situations.  You will also need a good text editor.  Notepad probably won't cut it.  I used Notepad++ to edit the file.

  1. Stop Eclipse.  This is key as eclipse caches the file and will overwrite your changes if running
  2. Navigate to the [workspaceLocation]\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.core.resources\.projects\[projectName]\.indexes\ directory using your workspace location and project name accordingly
  3. Edit the properties.index file
  4. Look for the Debug.ServerDebugRequested line
  5. Change the true to false
  6. Save the file
  7. Restart Eclipse

Once I restarted Eclipse and checked the Test Environment view the setting was off.

Hello

It doesn't work

I used Notepad++ 6.6.7 to change properties.index.

When I open Eclipse it doesn't open the Project.

No error and doesn't show project Tree in the project explorer.

And no show 'Loading SAP Work Man...can %' progress.

It may be because 'true' and 'false' have different length and properties.index file keep also length of strings and changing true to false breake file format.

Bill,

Let us know if there was any action done on your part to open a request. We in the support group want to know if you did some action on the request or not so we can have visibility on it (any SAP number). You may also update the thread (or we can talk internally).

Have a great day.
