Updating Pricing on a Public Template in SRM7?

Former Member

Hello,

Earlier this year, we upgraded our system to SRM 7 extended classic scenario using webdynpro.  Problem: the creators of public templates are unable to update pricing, only quantity?  Is there away to update public template pricing?  Even in edit mode, the pricing field is locked.

I would appreciate any help and guidance in this area.

Hello,

I tested this in my system. Actually the price should be editable in case of free text cart template without contract assigned.
However if template was created from a catalog, internal goods/services or it has a contract assigned as source of supply, price should not be editable, since it depends on catalog, product ID or contract.

Thank you Ricardo for your response.

The public templates were created from an internal catalogs that were used to purchase MRO items in SRM5.0.  When upgrading to SRM 7.2, we were advised to use public templates, as internal catalogs would not be supported.  However, we were not aware that pricing would be uneditable, if templates were created from catalogs.

Thank you for your assitance.
