SYSTEM ERROR: SOAP Framework error: SOAP Runtime Exception: CSoapExceptionTransport : HTTP receive failed with exception communication_failure (100.101).

Dear Experts,

Recently, we setup ADS (Adobe Document Services) in AS JAVA Stack and we already connected some of our ABAP Systems. But, some of our ABAP Systems are not able to connect successfully to ADS Server due to HTTP Errors.

In ABAP System, after clicking Connection test in SM59 -> ADS (RFC Destination), we get message ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED.

In SE38 transaction, after executing the reports FP_PDF_TEST_00, FP_TEST_00, and FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE,  we get also the error "SYSTEM ERROR:SOAP Framework error: SOAP Runtime Exeception: CSoapExeceptionTransport: HTTP receive failed with exception communication_failure (100.101). Exception of class CX_FP_RUNTIME_INTERNAL. (see attached screenshot).

Any ideas, please? Anything is missing?

Hello,

When 'ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED' happens you probably don't have a

HTTP port configured on ICM (smicm transaction). Please check if you have one.

Hi David,

Thank you for the Hint. I also maintained the correct HTTP port in SMICM.

Anyway, the issue resolved, i have unchecked the global proxy settings from menu -> client -> proxy settings.
