how to globally access my sap erp through sap gui

Dear expert ,

I installed sap erp and i have lease line IP address which provided by ISP, now i wanna End user access my server from other location through SAP GUI,

please help me step by step configuration.

Hi,

You could opt SAP Router configuration at your end or the VPN options as already mentioned above.

Hello,

How are the remote offices connected to your office?

Do they have a VPN with your office?

Have you discussed this with your infrastructure team?

Hi Freitas ,

I am very happy to gave me quick reply thanks for that, this is my local network , not connected to remote office i am getting direct lease line from ISP , my lease line IP address is 184.72.127.202, I am getting internet on ERP system through this IP address........so now i wanna access my ERP from remote location through Sap Gui. this is my head office where installed ERP.

You're welcome!

And can the remote offices "ping" (or reach) this IP address directly?

If yes, you can just create an entry at SAP GUI using that IP at the server name field.

Or, create an entry at the DNS servers of the remote offices, so a more friendly name can be used instead of the IP address.

I still recommend that you discuss this with your infrastructure team.
