Hi,

FTP sender channel throws connection refuse error, but whereas the channel ping status shows that initially

FTP connectivity test passes

Directory Existence test passes

Third instead of File existence test it again throws FTP connectivity failed result.

The same channel works fine in Reg where the channel results show file does not exists , but in production it throws FTP  connectivity error.

the network team is sure no firewall issue and we are able to ping the ftp site from production server level.

Regards,

SPS

Issue Resolved.

At Sender Channel the Data connection was Passive, because of which once after the authentication with port 21 the channel was trying the data transfer on different ports and there had been a recent network migration activity because of which restrictions on Ports were more and because of this channel fails connectivity once after authenticating using port 21.

Resolution:

The channels Data connection  parameter is set to Active now and the channel is working fine .

Data transfer and authentication is only through port 21 now.

Hi,

Try these..

---> Make sure the FTP server is UP and running..

--> Specify Host name of the FTP server in file communication channel or IP address of the server?

--> Check whether the FTP user have all the access / FTP user locked?

--> Some times due less number of parallel connections at FTP server you may get this error.

Try to set the poolWaitingTime parameter in advanced tab of communication channel may help you to get rid of this error.

Please check with FTP team.
