Firefighter Log details from Tabelle CDPOS are missing - Changed values are not transferred from Backend-System

Dear all,

we have implemented a new version of a system ("upgrade" with a new target host).

If we work now with the firefighter and the FF-Log will be created, the log displays now no changed values from CDPOS.

(if we change Field DEPARTMENT in SU010 for example)

The values from table CDHDR will be diplayed.

The old version of the system display the data above.

Changes in other Backend-System which are executed with the firefighter are working correctly.

Please support. We have to go-live as soon as possible.

Dear all,

problem is solved at the moment.

SAP Note 1775432 has solved the problem.

In the old backend system the time zone was CET.

(not the same time zone as the operating system time zone)

The new upgraded backend system had time zone UTC.

Now both are the same (transaction ZTZAC) and the values which are changed with the firefighter are displayed in the ff-log.

BUT next year we will connect another backend system with GRC and there it is not possible to change the time zone of the backend system.

Does anyone know how to solve this (mapping table?)

Hi Melanie,

If I understand you correct, you did a release change or at least SP update in one of the target/GRC plugin systems.

Are there any logs/dumps in the target system and/or in the GRC main system after running the Firefighter Log Sync job?

Please also have a look at the EAM Key Note and check if there are any notes for your system available (plugin and or GRC main):
