Pl suguest the setting in ECC and APO to User Primary Resource first then secoundary resource next

Hi All,

Please suguest the  setting/Config in ECC :so that In APO to  create Planned orders  for Primary resource/workcenter first after that when Overload Primary resource shift /create planned orders to Secondary Resource

1)      Repetitive Routing CA23 using in current project which has  different version with different Resource/work center in PDS which is not working

In Routing have different production versions with different group with different Work center: which is not working for creating planned orders for  primary resource first then if overload shift to secondary resource ,So I tried to test for  Normal Routing

2)      Normal Routing CA02: I Tried do configuration and did testing for Normal Routing but not working please suggest

I have tried to do in 3 different process in Routing  1)2 Operation with diiferant workcenter 2)Sequence in routing 3)Created Characteristics and class and assign to routing but getting error

Hello,

Could you tell if the secondary resource is created on Alternative sequence or Parallel sequence in routing?

created Alternatice sequence in CA01 and in Alternative sequence created/assign secound workcenter,Please find the screen shots below

Hello,

In the standard system, you cannot display alternative routing sequences in a PP/DS runtime object

generated in R/3.You can use the BADI implementation of the CUSLNTRTO_ADDIN BAdI described in this note to display alternative routing sequences in alternative modes.

If the R/3 routing contains a parallel sequence, the transfer to APO has operations appearing in the source of supply in SAP APO (PPM, PDS) that are from the parallel sequence, in addition to the operations triggered by the master sequence operations. The parallelism is mapped using relationships.

So if we use this Badi we can plan primary resource then secoundary resource in APO

Is this Badi in ECC or APO,Please explain in detail please

Hello,

1. Yes..If secondary resource is mapped as Alternative sequence.

This Badi is to be used in ECC while CIF transfer.

BADI Name: CUSLNTRTO_ADDIN

Method: CHANGE_CIF_STRUCTURES /CHANGE_EWB_STRUCTURES

Please work with your Technical team to implement this BADI and method in accordance to your requirement.

I believe you are using PDS and not PPM

You can Refer following SAP notes.

217210 - Mapping of alternative sequences in APO System for this

what about the characteristic and class maintained in ECC,not require right ? even alternative sequence will achieve the requirement of Using primary resource the secondary resource

Currently we are using PPDS Huristics Planning of Standard Lots "SAP_PP_002"  is it ok right this huristics  will work for creating Planned order in  primary resource then secondary if implement notes or Badi
