Search across multiple classes having common characteristics

Hi,

We have created a 3 document types corresponding to 3 classes.

Each Class has multiple Characteristics on its own, but 1 characteristic is common across all the 3 classes.

Class Type for all is 017 i.e Document Management,

Now when I login into CV04N, and I select all the 3 Document types , I want to have the ability to select the common characteristic.

By default, I can see only one class can be selected and thus output will have only one Document type.

Hello Saurabha,

The previous thread was talking about various Class types, then I doubted as if the query is outside DMS. However you line 'Class Type for all is 017 i.e Document Management,'  cleared that doubt.

Coming to your requirement, my assessment is, this can not be explored in standard SAP. We need to go for development.
