Copy order series data from one version to other version of different Model

Hi Experts,

I am trying to copy order series data from one planning version to other other planning version, both the versions belong to different models.

I Have tried through the /SAPAPO/VERCOP but failed as got the error message that, Versions belong to different models.

Please help me a way to copy the data.

Hi

To copy model in Background you can use the report /SAPAPO/MVM_COPY_MODEL_VER_BCK. Please select the Copy time series and copy orders according to your requirement.

Thanks for the replay.

Report  /SAPAPO/MVM_COPY_MODEL_VER_BCK will create a new model and version, were we want to copy order data between the existing model versions.

error message :Model XXX already exists.

Please let me know were there is any other option.

As far as my knowledge, I think we don´t have such report.

Might be you can open the OSS message with above error for report /SAPAPO/MVM_COPY_MODEL_VER_BCK and SAP might come back to it.

If you convenience them, they could accept this as bug and provide you SAP note which could fix the issue.
