Hi folks,
How can we find jvm version in sap??
Regards
Abhinav Potadey
1. Login to your SAP operating system as sidadm. Execute below command. From below output, you can find the build version as build 4.1.025.
2. Alternatively, go to work directory, /usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGSxx/work and display the dev_server0 file. You can find the SAPJVM version and location stated there.
Reference SAP Note 1434916
For the engine version just go to http://<HostName.FQDN>:port/systeminfo

Hello Abhinav,
Are we talking about the Application Server (J2EE engine) Java's JVM?
For 7.1 or higher systems: open http://<host>:<port>/nwa/sysinfo -> "System Information" -> Select the "Instance" -> the JVM information will be displayed below.
For 7.0 systems: open http://<host>:<port>/nwa -> System Management -> Configuration -> Select the "Instance" -> see the the java.path
Note: the output "java -version" CLI command depends on the path of execution. It does not necessarily displays the version of the J2EE engine's java, thus can be misleading.
Best Regards,
Peter
