Hello Experts,
Since one week, there are many SOAP channels which are getting into error state due to following reason -
Exception caught by adapter framework: java.io.IOException: Error receiving or parsing request message: java.lang.RuntimeException: Error while silently connecting: org.w3c.www.protocol.http.HttpException: Connect timed out
Could you please let me know what actions do we need to take for this?
I am on PI 7.31 single stack and the channels are mostly Receiver SOAP channels (PI to ECC) .
Normally they are getting in error and after some time they are processing again the messages, But this is not the normal behavior for our system.
Regards,
Rahul
Hi Rahul,
The error seems to be on the ECC endpoint, have you checked the time is process on the ECC is the same?, may be the ECC is overloaded and you should schedule some scenarios on the other time or to increase the ECC timeout.

Hi Rahul,
First you have to figure out what parameter could be and if the current fit with your problem. For example:
ICM: Timeout, Timeout Options for ICM and Web Dispatcher - Administration - SAP Library
On the sxmb_adm transaction, in the Integration Engine configuration, check if there is any timeout parameter set, for example
