Hi,
We have many transaction types for Incidents like ZMIN, YMIN ..etc. and value for one of them e.g. ZMIN should appear by default in the CRM UI search.
Please help me with steps how this can be done.
Thanks & Regards
Nisha
Hi Nisha,
the way Dillip mentioned works fine.
But with the newer releases of solution manager you can share your saved searches without changing the database by using the "Share" menu:
The shared searches are displayed on the home screen in an extra area:
If you want to preselect the transaction type without saved searches, you will have to do some development in the search web ui component.
Best Regards,
Christoph

Hi Nisha,
The best way would be to publish your saved search to all the users with the same business role, this is simple and you can avoid component enhancement here.
Related tables for an existing search you would like to publish for a business role
CRMD_SHORTCUT (CRM Shortcuts)
CRMD_SHORTCUT_T (text table)
CRMD_SHORTCUT table (default)
Description field below is the name of your saved search
Publish to users with the same business role (that role above is for ex)
change the AUDIENCE TYPE from USER into ROLE.
change the AUDIENCE KEY into the ID of the Business Role
Also check this entry (based on the GUID) in table CRMD_SHORTCUT_T
Caution: the description may be empty for the language EN, so maintain it in table CRMD_SHORTCUT_T , otherwise your saved search won't be visible to users.
You can refer to note #1372708 for more information.

Dillip

Hi, Nisha.
First of all, your users can use saved searches.
The other way is to make busines role configuration - you can make individual link to a search where default transaction type is set.
