Customer master data - district

I have to change the district name. When I create customer master record, district is populating automatically. It has some syntax errors. I want to change the district name in address tab. How can I do that?

go to XD02 if its is central customer or VD02 if it is one time customer

HI Mike,

If I am not wrong, Sales districts are created in IMG. using SPRO-F5-Master Data-Business partners - cutsomers- sales - Define Sales Districts. Go here and do what corrections you want to do. the same corrected data should appear in Customer master and also sales orders.

I don't see the district name that appears in customer master in IMG sales districts. Is there another place to look at it?

Hi,

did you look at the F1 help on district. It has a lot of formatting rules in place. Pl check. Also we can populate this field as part of master data updation.
