Hi All,
SAP WM 62 app is taking much long time to download the data into device iPad.
We have around 30 work orders assigned to the id. But still the work orders are not getting downloaded and we could see the below error message in SLG1 logs
Error: CX_OS_OBJECT_NOT_FOUND
But there seems no error in iPad. We are testing the app in latest agentry client v 7.10.5.4.
Could anyone please suggest on this.
Thanks,
Roopa.
Hi,
We are encountering the same issue.The application is not downloaded to the device.We have encountered even MEMORY_NO_MORE_PAGING in back end ECC. As a work around solution, we have restarted the SMP server.After that the issue has been resolved.But on the continuous usage of the application, we are encountering the same issue again the orders are not downloading to the device.In SMP server logs, the session has been ended for the user.Frequently SAP Paging overflow error is encountered in the device iPad.
We are using SMP 3.0 SP09 PL01, SMP 3.0 SDK SP10 PL01 with the Agentry Client Version 70.10.5.4.
Requesting suggestion/inputs for the same.
Thanks & Regards,
Padmavathi

What do you see on the transmit window?

Hi Stephen,
Similar issue has been encountered for us. There is no specific error on the transmit window.The application got struck when downloading complex table CTApplicationConfig.As a work around solution we have performed a reset of the application again.But we are encountering the issue sometimes.
Kindly suggest.
Thanks & Regards,
Sravanthi
Hi Stephen,
Many thanks for your response.
We could not see any message in the transmit window, but the sync seems to be taking too long time to get the data and some time the transmit is getting struck.
We are stopping the sync and starting again, but still the same issue is occurring.
We have strong VPN and network connectivity.
Kindly suggest us on the issue.
Thanks & Regards,
Roopa M.
Hi Roopa,
Could you please provide more detailed information for your issue?
1. As you mentioned in the problem, you have around 30 work orders assigned to the id and faced the issue. So could you please test if you assign less than 10 work orders, will you still face the same issue?
2. Could you please also check if there is any error in the smp server log and also provide the message.log for the further check. (please note the issue happening timestamp)
3. What is your smp Runtime Server version and the SMP SDK version?
Best Regards,
Kevin.
Hi Kelvin,
Thanks for the reply.We will update the logs.Just need a clarification on the CTApplicationConfig Complex table.This table has been included in WM6.2.We could not find this table in Configpanel for WM5.3.And the app getting struck when downloading this table.Hope this table is related to GIS functionality that is newly included in WM6.2 application.Kindly suggest if we disable this table in Configuration Panel, does it impact on the sync performance/GIS functionality.
Thanks in advance.

Sravanthi and Roopa,
We as an SAP support team are trying to review your statement above.

Error: CX_OS_OBJECT_NOT_FOUND
~~~~~~~end~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The 30 workorders getting stuck may be influenced by performance hit that Work Manager has. We have tried isolating key common issues under:
In particular:
2116192 - FAQ - Mobile Add-On for SAP Performance Recommendations
1983860 - Work Order fetch taking too long to finish due to missing table empty checks
For the error CX_OS_OBJECT_NOT_FOUND this is a backend error tied to your SLG1 logs. There should be a point in time (Timestamp) that shows where the error is. If we look at the SMPSERVER-smp-server.log or Agentry logs (events.log or messages.log) what is being shown.
One more thing we noticed. You guys mentioned "Session timer for user XXXX ending" followed by "Session timer sleeping for 60 sec".
Can you double check all your SMP 3.0 Cockpit timeout or idle time out settings. If you compare this to the time of your logs, did it make the time based on what you have provided it. It is a theory where if the session timer is ending that you didn't give enough time for the transmit.
These are some of the suggestions that we have as an SAP Mobile support team can give right now. Let us know or update this thread so that the mobility community can assist as well.
Hi,
Thanks for the response.Some times we could able to see "XcodeFailedToSendResponse" in SMP Server logs, and at the same time stamp in slg1 CX_OS_OBJECT_NOT_FOUND is encountered.
One more scenario is the application is getting struck at "Get Work Orders" fetch and never downloads orders.When verified in slg1 logs, could able to see the same CX_OS_OBJECT_NOT_FOUND.
We have tried to perform sync by keeping two ipads side by side with same network.One ipad the application is downloaded successfully.The other iPad got struck and never completes sync.Both ipads are in ios9 Version.The issue is less frequent in ios 8 version.
Kindly suggest does this might be an issue with the performance of the application or network.
Thanks & Regards,
Sravanthi Polu
