I want to see if the app servers are load balanced.
Thanks.

Mel Calucin
You can try running a periodic job using /SDF/MON. It captures your system utilization (WPs, DIA, CPU, memory, etc.) in a given period. Please refer to the link below.

Hope this helps.

Hi Mel
Basic tips which we are following in our environment,(CI + 9 App Servers)
1. Is this users are equally distributed with all App servers? You can check using the transaction code AL08 to see all App severs equal loaded?
2. All the end users are logon in App servers not on Central instance(CI).
3. All the background job should be executing in App server not on CI for this you can create the Background job group assign in all BG jobs execution server. using transaction code SM61
4. Refer the SAP Note for RFL load balancing
593058 - New RFC load balancing procedure

Hi Mel,
Goto RZ10-->SAP CCMS Monitor Templates-->Entire system-->SID-->Application server-->System->R3Services-->Dialog
Select Utilization and choose Display Details (Shift+F6) and you can see the report in the next screen,
You can set the period as per your requirement once done choose Display Performance Value Grapgically (Shift+F5)
You will now have graphical view in % of dialog process usage for that application server.

Hello Mel,
You can check this in Transection SM50 and SM66.
For SM50, first you need to go to SM51, select the App Server, double click on that and then go to SM50. It will tell you all the Work processes on that app server with status.
Else you can go to SM66 and there select the layout, keep "App server" in the layout and execute. It will tell you running WPs for all the app servers.
Hope this helps!
