Standalone hybris Marketing

We are planning to use hybris Marketing as a standalone solution without SAP ERP or SAP CRM. What is a best way how to load customers, products, sales transactions in to yMarketing without using CSV?

Are there any tools for loading external master data from non-SAP system available?

Are sales transactions considered as "interaction"? Can we use "interactions" in recommendation generation?

Regards,

Maris

Hi Maris,

For loading SAP ERP/CRM data, SLT is the recommend tool.  For non-SAP data, you could SAP Data Services or others.  For more info, please read the following blog:  http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-61065

Thank you!!

Bharat,

can we load data in to yMarketing directly without using SAP Data services, which is a separate server? We would like to use OData service for that.

Maris

Hi Maris,

You can load data into SAP hybris Marketing by calling the API(odata, webservice, RFM) directly.  For more info, please read the inbound interface guide http://help.sap.com/mkt

Thank you

Data Services can be used to bypass the manual CSV load. There are several RDS offerings that include DS loads for different types of data.

Hi all,

Is it possible to load only one Z_Tables from ERP without loading all the BPs?

Meaning the Tables will be loading only if needed.

Do I need to set the RFC Connection between ERP and yMKT?

Yora,

First of all, yMKT needs data loaded via API for contacts and interactions.  Contacts & Interactions are the basic building blocks for the functionality in yMKT to work.

Once you have contacts/interactions, you can bring in addtional data and join it in Segmentation via HANA modeling.

Thanks
