Hi Tarmizee,

Please share what are you going to do after knowing user name?

Communication is http stateless and app does not hold GUI session like SAPGUI.

Hi Masayuki san,

Thanks for your reply. Example, in standard SM04, we can check how much memory that used by the user and also we can check how many session that assessing the server in case of there is performance issue.

Is there any other correct way that I should check ?

Thanks and Best Regards

Hi Tarmizee, As Masa said, Gateway communications (as used by Fiori) are stateless. That means that even though you are logged in in Fiori launchpad, there will not be any session in backend. So you will not find any user sessions in SM04.

Hi Kishore,

Thanks for the info. I guess if the session is stateless, in case of performance issue happened, we would not able to catch which user id is running large processing. Or , there is a better way to do the investigation ?

Thanks and Best Regards

Hi Tarmizee,

Please take a look at .

Most of performance issues are related with network and number of roundtrips to backend. If an issue depends on specific user, it is backend app side issue and you can take traditional performance troubleshooting you know in ERP.
