Watching SAP systems on Solution Manager

Dear Gurus,

We want to watch SAP systems on our SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SP13. We should receive email or notification if any SAP systems is closed or database is closed or something.

Which Solution Manager features should be activated and configured for this requirement ?

Hi Kemal,

It looks like you need to set up Technical Monitoring.

Hi Kemal,

You need to talk to the Basis team and get them to fully connect each system to SolMan.  Then you can set up alerting if systems go offine, etc.
