MEREP_EX_REPLIC throws out an error

Hi,

If I start MEREP_EX_REPLIC, I receive an error for SyncBO MAM30_016 and MAM30_017.

Hi Florian,

The problem is with the backend customization. Any error message starting with 'Return code from RFC BAPI Wrapper call:' is from the backend bapi wrapper. And most of these will be business scenario errors.

The syncBO MAM30_017 is for catalog code group. The error message says catalog group with name 2 and A doesn't have entries. Please check that..

The syncBO MAM30_090 is for user customization and as per the error message some activity planning/qty planning is missing for that particular user.

Hi Florian,

when you do a new installation before you run any replication, the best idea is to run getList and getDetail BAPIs to see if there is no issues with your backend customizing.

I have to agree with the previous answers: your problems are caused by catalog customization either in PM/CS or MAM or both.

Run MAM30_016_GETDETAIL for catalogues listed in MAM30_016_GETLIST and do similar excercise for 017.

PM/CS is where catalogs are customized. MAM is where PM/CS catalogues can be filtered to restrict what is relevant for mobile devices.

I don't think people on this forum will be inclined too much to help with secifics of PM/CS catalogues as it is not mobile related.

you 090 problem is PM/CS customizing. Not specifically MAM.

MAM30_090 is done. I had to add some entries in transaction KP26 for the mentioned cost centers for the missing period.

Hi Florian,

Use the transaction MEREP_LOG to view the reason for the replicator to fail. There are many reasons as to why this happens.

In your case the BAPI wrappers are throwing some error. You need to use the above transaction. In selection screen that appears, enter RP as Job type to see all the error messages associated with replication.

And the note you have mentioned is more to do with the BAPI wrappers.

If you have applied note 1042457 you receive this error message. I canceled that note and it worked.
