Do I need to have an existing SAP platform in place (ERP) to use MDG. Also, if I needed to use this in the cloud, do I have to have a license for HANA cloud platform, or is this available through the cloud as the initial implementation.
MDG runs on top of ECC. So, you need a functioning ECC system. It could be MDG's own ECC box (hub scenario) or it could be the existing ERP ECC box (co-deployed scenario).
What about the cloud option, how does that work. I read that it can be deployed on the HANA Cloud. How does that work? Woould I have to place my ECC system on the HCP?
