Collection Item field (INKPS) in DFKKOP table

Hi Experts,

I need some information on Collection Item Field (INKPS) in DFKKOP table.

1. What is the significance of this field?

2. This field is common between DFKKOP table and DFKKCOLLH table, So can we expect in both the tables data should be same in this field for a particular OPBEL.

Currently the issue we are facing is INKPS is always populated in DFKKCOLLH table, but for the corresponding OPBEL in DFKKOP table the INKPS field is blank.

Any idea what could be the reason?

An early response will be of great help

Thanks

Rishi

Hi Rishi,

The response is as follows-

(a) Once the Document no, is released to Collection Agency (Sub. Status 01), the INKPS field gets updated in DFKKCOLL,DFKKCOLLH and DFKKOP and it remains there for the lifetime.

The only way this can be removed is through the reset release process through FP03.

In short this field links the table DFKKCOLL* tables with DFKKOP.

(b) Yes.... ideally, the value in the INKPS field will be same across DFKKOP , DFKKCOLL and DFKKCOLLH for a particular Document no.

Now, at times, for a particular document no., if its partially cleared, and if the Open part is referred to Collection Agency, then INKPS is only updated on the Open document part segregated by OPUPK, OPUPZ,OPUPW in DFKKOP,

Can you check the items for which you are not able to see the DFKKOP-INKPS, are these items recalled from the Collection Agency (Submission status-09)

Another thing that you can check, is the document number that you are talking about; are they migrated documents, where in the INKPS field is not in sync across SAP Database tables...

Thanks,

Amlan
