Input field history

Dear all,

I'm getting a problem with Input field history that i need your help.

A input field of the customize program has not history, other fields is ok. I don't know why.

I have checked some solutions already but it still does not work. Ex: Insert Key UserDot into registry, Install Acrobat reader,

I'm using SAP GUI 7.20 on XP Os

Hello Quang Le Vinh,

Are you using Windows XP Home or XP Professional?

Both your OS and SAPgui are out of support from SAP and Microsoft.

It's very important to update your infrastucture as soon as possible as you are at grave risk of getting viruses/malware on your machines

The quickest way of fixing this field history issue is to delete the users .mdb file and a new one will be created. Doing this will delete all the previous history though, and you will be starting off with no entries.

Have you check SAP note 199527 (https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap/support/notes/199527):

And please refer to SAP note 931540(https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap/support/notes/931540)

to repair MDAC installation for Windows XP:

931540 - History: repair MDAC installation

And please also check if Ctrl + right mouse -> "Enabel the history" option is available and working
in the input field of the customize program?

If issue still occurs, please provide the information in SAP note 199527 and check if issue

occur in other OS type(e,g, Windows 7, Windows 8, etc)?
