Budget warning message for each line item.

Hi All,

I have a doubt regarding budget check warning message.

Distributable budg = Rs. 100,  Assigned = Rs 92 ( divided in 8 service PR of value 10 and 9th PR with value 12)

when i created a project with same budget and commitments.

and tried to release NTW without saving service PRs before.

System gives warning message

"line item 0010 budget almost exhausted" after pressing enter

"line item 0020 budget almost exhausted" after pressing enter

"line item 0030 budget almost exhausted" after pressing enter

"line item 0040 budget almost exhausted" after pressing enter

"line item 0050 budget almost exhausted" after pressing enter

"line item 0060 budget almost exhausted" after pressing enter

"line item 0070 budget almost exhausted" after pressing enter

"line item 0080 budget almost exhausted" after pressing enter

"line item 0090 budget almost exhausted" after pressing enter

After that i created a project with same service activity(as mentioned sbove) and saved the project.

then i released the NTW and tried to save the project

System gives the warning message "budget almost exhausted" only once and i saved the project.

My question is

1. Why system is giving warning message for each line item one by one when i have not saved the activities before and released the NTW??

Its requires effort for ignoring warning message for each line item.

Hello  Sachin

The system does emit message BP613 as an error if no  addressee for the mail can be located.

Category 2 is WARNING with email to person responsible.

If the mail cannot be sent, maybe because nobody is assigned as budget manager,
BP613 is provided as an error.

you can read oss note  93486.

Did you make any availability control relevant change in the budget profile?

If so,please also refer to OSS note 922295.

Hi Gerry,

Thanks for your response.

This issue is coming after upgrading SPS 14.

All things were working fine before but after upgrade when user trying to save the project, he is getting the above mentioned error.

But if user saved the project once and then trying to create multiple service PRs...then system is giving warning message for each line item,

When you save in PS only the changed objects are touched.  When you REL you are touching every NWA, then when you come back in and change you are touching only that one object.
