PREP_SPACECALC/GET_CLONE_SIZE issue

Hi All,

We are stuck into EHP7 upgrade below phase.

Current Phase: PREP_SPACECALC/GET_CLONE_SIZE

Severe error(s) occurred in phase PREP_SPACECALC/GET_CLONE_SIZE!

Last error code set: 21 processes failed, check 'TPSIZECALL.*' for details

Stopped execution due to too many failed processes

in log file error is "ERROR: Connect to BCD failed (20151120125136, ORA-12537: TNS:connection closed)."

I have checked tnsping also listener all ok sap up & running fine.

Please check attached error log for more details.

Hi,

Yes, repeating phase did not worked....

Issue resolve by increasing process & sessions parameter of oracle.

1875086 - Not able to connect to the Oracle database

Did you try repeating the phase? Check the below thread once as well:

phase PREP_SPACECALC/GET_CLONE_SIZE, error : br... | SCN

Hello Siddhesh,

Can you please check following sap note:-

1832336 - Error: "ORA-01405: fetched column value is NULL" during upgrade phase GET_CLONE_SIZE

1875086 - Not able to connect to the Oracle database
