SNMP trap integration with third Party

Hi All,

We are on Solman 7.1 SP12. I have configured Solman to integrate with third party CA ticketing tool via SNMP traps.

Since Solman is connected to all UAT, Acceptance and Development  systems. How can I configure to send SNMP traps to a UAT environment of the third party CA ticketing tool system for alerts raised in the Non prod environments in parallel to production traps send to production CA ticketing tool.

I have referenced the config guide "HOW-TO GUIDE SNMP Trap Adapter.pdf"

Hi Ashutosh,

In your Auto reaction method <name Given>Alert_SNMP_TRAP change the hostname to point to your Dev/QA environment.

Thanks Ramkrishna for your response.

Going to the specifics, eg System monitoring alerts are send across as SNMP traps in the production environment via config  as shown in the attached screen shots. I am not using any auto alerting.

When I go to the third party tab in System monitoring, and add "React to alert by sending SNMP trap", this is linked with the config in the first screen shot.

I have not done any auto reactions config.

Is it that I have to have that in place to achieve what I want to achieve ??
