Issue with Manul Deleting the Master Agreement

Hi all,

I tried to delete a Master Agreement manually through tool bar (Document--> Delete the Document.). I am not able to delete the document.

Can any one suggest why it was happening and how to resolve the issue.

Currently we are using CLM 10.0.04.

Hi Phani,

Your error is most likely coming from VALIDATE script.

While this is counter-intuitive, the validate script also triggers for the delete action. Make sure your validate script doesn't error out while deleting.

I got this issue after inactivating all the custom scripts.

Hi Phani,

Can you do following actions:

1. Provide a screenshot with the Document Links on the MA you are trying to delete

2. Remove all the 'internal' document links (or better still, remove all doc links) and try to delete again.

Hello Phani,

You can delete an agreement (either active or inactive) if the following conditions are met:

• The current date is later than the value in the End Date field on the Header page.
• The current date is later than the value in the Retention Date field on the Header page. (There must be a value in this field, and it must be in the past, in order to delete the document.)
• The agreement is not flagged as perpetual.
• The agreement can be deleted only if its subagreements are deleted.

Thanks for the info. I tried the same and met all the conditions above. Still i am not able to delete the document.
