DMS - Additional Data: just „_“ is not accepted

Hi,

We want so store the value “_” (just an underscore) in a specific classification characteristic (Addnl Data) of DMS.

The characteristic is defined as CHAR (30), all values are allowed, no restrictions.

Seems that the characteristics do not accepted just an underscore as value.

whats the reason therefore?

Is there a solution to change that behavior?

Dear Andreas,

I tested this behavior and I have to inform you that value '_' is seen as a placeholder and is removed again when pressing ENTER.

Also in transaction CT04 it is not possible to maintain a value entry with sign '_'. I regret but this is not possible in the current standard.
