Recording external application in CBTA

We are able to record and replay successfully in CBTA in ECC, but when we use the CBTA for BW with RRMX tcode we get an output in an Microsoft excel sheet and CBTA is not able to record the excel application.  The excel requires some input from the user in order to generate the report but currently the CBTA is not able to record the excel application as well.  could you please help us on how to record excel application while using BW systems?

Hi Selva.

Based on the information provided in note 1835958 - CBTA 3.0 : Known Issues, we are not currently able to use CBTA for Word and Excel. Maybe the way out is to use predefined excel file which you proceed in skript or use a variant of a program which is processing filled excel file.
