BackOrder Report

Hi,

Is there a report to quickly view a list of materials on backorder?

I've look at VA05, VA05n, v.15 but none seem to straight forward.

There are couple of ways I can get the report.

List of all materials, Quantity in the warehouse and Qty of open orders. One line per material.

OR

All open orders by materials where Qty confirmed is less then Qty ordered.

Any help would be appreciated

Is there any particular reason not to use V_RA (create a variant with all materials and the respective plants, sales area details etc.)?

The list is based on sales document item, so you may get multiplle entries for the same material in the case of stock shortages, but if you export it to xls, I guess you can create some pivot from it if your aim is to analyze per material/location/date range.

V_RA doesn't allow you to export to excel.

Use the menu System->List->Save->Local file. There is option to save to *.xls

Thank you, may have to build a custom report to include POs and STOs.

Has anyone got anything on this? SAP doesn't have a standard backorder report?
