Hi Expects

we had some issus with Sync job between SAP PO and SAP GRC, we sorted them by implementing following Notes:

SAP Note

2168872

2151938

2174744

2135925

2130253

2138367

2193637

2132329

2108402

1872047

2005901

2083046

2117294

2132541

2170568

On implementing above notes its working fine as expected in Developement system, and we moved changes to Quality system.

In Quality System the job GRAC_REPOSITORY_OBJECT_SYNC it is running successfully but the data is not getting updated completely in table GRACRLCONN.

we see only 17 entries in GRACRLCONN table, were as we have more then 100 roles in SAP PO system.

Thanks in Advance

Narender

Hi All,

Thanks all for your great contribution to fix this.

We noticed that when we do incremental synch, the data is getting updated gradually each time when we do incremental synch, but full synch is not performing as expected.

However as SAP PO is new system, we transported changes to Production, and it is working good in production.

I am really surprised to see such behavior.

I hpe we will have no oter such issues.

Thanks and regards,

Narender

Hi All,

The Dev roles are available in system, we have configured ROLE_SYNC_OBJ parameter as ROLE_ONLY, but still it’s fetching limited role details.

In addition when we did the same in development system it’s taking more then 17000+ seconds to complete the job [GRAC_REPOSITORY_OBJECT_SYNC] with full synch but in case of Quality system it’s just taking 27 Seconds every time we run, which is strange.

We are not sure where do we need to investigate and how to process.

Is there any buffer configuration or something like that which can limit the data or so on.

HI Narender,

As Baithi said, please check the development roles are available in QA or not and run the Repository sync job in full sync mode.

Hi Narender,

Have you run the repository object sync after PFCG Sync has completed successfully? PFCG Sync is required to be completed first.

Have you executed a FULL sync for repository object sync?

Though it's basic but at time we do overlook.

Thanks,

Priyanka

Hello Narender,

As it is working in Dev system, then it should also work in Q system

check the below points

1.is your all implemented notes moved to Q system

2.Check connector access

3.Same Dev roles are existed in Q also,by chance if not transported

4.Check the parameter 1222 value in SPRO.

As Priyanka said, run please execute Role Repository Sync(GRAC_ROLEREP_ROLE_SYNC Program) in full mode.

Baithi
