Hi,

While creating a new campaign in hybris marketing  , what is the importance of CRM Campaign id and what does it controls ?

Hi Madhu,

When you will created a new campaign and saved it, a campaign ID is generated and it is a number generated by the system and cannot be changed.

You can use the CRM campaign ID if you run a productive SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) system.

The CRM campaign ID allows you to reference from your campaign to an existing SAP CRM campaign. To do so, you enter the required CRM campaign ID (or parts of the ID as the system provides you with a type-ahead feature proposing possible IDs).

If the validity period of the CRM campaign differs from the campaign’s validity period, the system adapts the start and end date of the campaign.
