Delivery blocks

Hi all, can any one let me know, how many types of delivery blocks one can define and setup in sales and distribution module, and what level(Customer level/ Document level) we can set those blocks?

HI ,

U can maintain the delivery blocks at both level, Customer as well as sales doc level,

Customer level-- VD05,

Sales doc level-- Sales doc type-VOV8,- applies to whole document,

in Sales order @ item level- u can manually choose the delivery block for specific material,

Schedule line category- VOV6, too

n other blocks will be from Credit management( if customer exceeds credit limit, doc will b blocked)

Hi,

You can create your own delivery blocks in Logistics ExecutionShippingDeliveries-Define reasons blocking in shippingDelivery block.

Some of the standard defined delivery blocks are:

01 Credit limit

02 Political reasons

03 Bottleneck material

04 Export papers missng

05 Check free of ch.dlv

07 Change in quantity

You can block delivery at Sales document level in sales document type (shipping tab).

hi. basically i want to know at what levels we can assign the delivery blocks?

and how can we decide about giving the authorisations to release the delivery blocks.

Hi Lakshman,

As I said in my earllier post,

Delivery blocks can be assigned at Cusotmer level N Sales Doc level,

For ur req u have to use the USEREXIT in sales doc-MV45AFZZ, Consult ur abaper, to write a code in this, as per ur requirement, this delivery block shouldnt be removed in VA01, but itz possible in VA02,n for authorization part consult ur Basis counteraprt.
