Hi
I did a SP upgrade of PO system from SP 08 to SP 011.
I am getting this error when I send messages:
connection soap_http //sap.com/xi/xi/system is currently not started
I started and stopped both of them
com.sap.aii.adapter.soap.lib
com.sap.aii.adapter.soap.app
Still the issue is not resolved

These threads pertain to dual stack. I am on single stack Java only PO version.
I believe that some service and some java applications are not started.
However, I am not find out which is causing the eror or may be the BASIS has missed out on some post patch upgrade steps in PO.
I think they did the patch upgrade through solman
Hi Harish
Check this below note. Hope this helps
Thanks,

Hi Neha
The issue was solved after raising a high priority OSS message to SAP by BASIS people.
Please try these steps.
Note 1978696 - Component Monitor fails to start after a system upgrade
Note 1488147 - NWA Missing Instances and Java Server Processes
Please check if the server is in safe mode. (Config tool -> File -> Safe Mode -> Safe mode enabled?) If safe mode is enabled, then have it disabled.
Furthermore, for application startup issues, please start the application manually and then check the defaultTrace.trc file for the root cause of the failure.
If the machine is in safe mode, seek BASIS help
These were the steps that I did

Hi Bhavesh,
Nice to see you here, after a long time!
When I started my XI career in 2007, I have gone through lots of your posts here to clarify some doubts
I will update it and close the thread. Since BASIS solved it, I don't remember. I am trying to get the solution from them and then I will provide it here and close the thread
Regards
Harish Babu
