Error While importing SAP MFU Component in Netwaver Gateway System

Dear All,

We are having issue while importing SAP MFU UMCCRM01 AND UMCERP01 IN SAP system.

We are having embedded server architecture where netweaver gateway and SAP ECC on system.

UMCCRM01 component shows dependencies for IW_BEP and currently we are having latest release component SAP_GWFND.

Error:=Component IW_BEP is already retrofitted into component version SAP_GWFND rel.740

Hi Surekha, if you have SAP_GWFND, no need to install IW_BEP component. Please check admin guide at help.sap.com/umc.

Dear Yevgen,

We have generated stack file for the ECC  system For MCF Add-On (Multichannel Utilities/SP 1.0), it is showing 81 dependant files. By default system is calculating files other than required  Add-On.

It calculates other packages (like:- EA-APPL, EA-FIN, EA-HR, FI-CA)  which are not required because this will impact existing functionality.

We want only require dependencies only for MCF Add-On to be calculated.

Please guide us how can we do this activity.

Dear Yevgen,

We have installed SAP CRM MCF Component on SAP CRM Server (UMCCRM01).

Also We have installed SAP ERP Component on ECC Server UMCERP01.

In case of ECC server we got Odata Service  project like ERP _UTILITIES_UMC but in case of CRM we are not getting it.

I am having confusion for SAP CRM Server.I checked in system I am unable to find Odata Service in Segw Tcode .

But I am getting BADI’s like CRM_IU_UMC_ODATA_ACCOUNT on the CRM System.

So getting confused how to access Odata of CRM Server

Hi Surekha ,

were you able to resolve this? We have installed UMCCRM01 add on SAP CRM server but we are missing the CRM_UTILITIES_UMC_PUBLIC_SRV in SEGW.

We land up with an error when we try to add it from \IWFND\MAINT_SERVICE.

Any insights why it might happen?

Dear Suman,

Odata services for this are created using Old method of Services creation.

You can do it using spro .

Path :- Spa Netwaver ->SAP Gateway Service enablement->Service Development for Backend odata channel.>Maintain Model.

First maintain the model then activate and maintain services.

Thanks for your response. the model is already maintained. But when I do a check model I get an error

metadata not loaded - see Association set 'Incomingaltpayerpaymentc_buagset' references to disabled entity set 'businessagreements'...

It's a bit confusing because I haven't enhanced any service, the error is in the standard model itself.

this is solved now. I implemented note 2309909: CRM Public Service Regeneration due to SP06 Metadata loading problem.
