Renaming of item status "Cannot be Ordered"

Former Member

Hi Experts,

We are on SRM 7.02, classic scenario.

A requirement came from business where they want to rename the item status "Cannot be ordered"  to "Rejected by buyer" while

rejecting the item from SOCO. I need your help in meeting this requirement technically.

Please advice , how to do this so that the item status shown in ESS POWL is 'Rejected by buyer".

Thanks,

Abhi

Hello,

text your are looking for is a text symbol from /SAPSRM/CL_CH_WD_DOTM_SC_I_BD class.

You just need to translate it according to your need.

Thanks Laurent for your response.

I tried doing "where use" in the text symbols to know from which method this text symbols is called.

I found the method as REFRESH_ROWS. I put break-point inside the method to check whether

this method gets triggered or not, but unfortunately this is not getting triggered.

After rejecting the item, it disappears from SOCO screen and when returning back to ESS screen,

the POWL refreshes but the break-point didn't trigger.

Any suggestions or advice pls.

Thanks in advance.

Abhi.

Laurent,

ESS is the Employee Self service screen in SRM holding SC details in POWL.

Please find the screenshot below.

This screen gets refreshed when returning from SOCO after rejecting the item,

and the item status updates to "Cannot be Ordered".
