Capabilities to integrate excel with SAP HCI?

Hi experts,

I ask for supoort regarding a capabilities of HCI. Do you know if is possible to integrate excel file with SAP HCI? I mean, HCI can read excel file? HCI can create an excel file?

In PI we can use file content converion and also we can use api in order to transform excel to xml.

In HCI how it work?

We have a similar capability?

Hi Francisco,

HCI has SFTP adapter. And as you know SFTP adapter does not support File Content conversion (FCC), hence we can make use of several module parameters available to read the excel file.

Hence you can SFTP adapter to read excel files in HCI, similarly as you do it in PI.

Hello Francisco,

You can go through the below blog from Eng for the module parameters to be used for reading the Excel files.

You need to deploy the module parameter in your PI system before using it.

AFAIK it is applicable for HCI too, because similar sort of design is used for the adapters is being used in HCI.
