What is your Database? There are plenty of documents available "how restore the backup". So basically you just need to restore the online/offline backup to the newly build system and do the post installation steps.

Hi,

Database is IBm DB2 9.7

Want to know the steps, pls suggest.

On The Test Server I have to Go With System Copy Option ?

In my case we have insatlled SAP using SWPM1 and then trying to restore taken backup, might be its a wrong process.

Okay. So you have two option.

1. You can use SWPM for system copy and when it asked for restore you can restore the database and continue with installation.

2. If you have already installed the system simply do the database restore.

Please refer this thread below. It has all the details. Also refer the Db2 system copy guide.
