Hello gurus
Unlike the role generation and role transport from PFCG, when we generate a role from BRM we can generate/save that role in dev quality and production systems and this role gets generated in 3 plugin system without the use of transport.
How do we integrate transport management system with BRM process without the role import procedure? Is there a way we can save the generated/saved role in a transport so that we can move it across dev, q, and prod systems in a landscape from BRM.
Thanks
Sri.
I want to configure an end to end BRM process similar to the usual role maintenance process using PFCG:
1. Create/change role
2. Initiate approval
3. Generate role in D
4. Move to Q after attaching test documentation to the role
5. QA re-tests in Q and generates the role after attaching Q test documentation
6. Move and Generate role in P.
Of course we do not require to generate the role in Q and P systems when using transports.
Is this possible through BRM without role import process? Any job/program we could be set up in background to generate roles?
Please advise.
Thanks
Sri

Hello Sri,
The only option is importing the roles, but you can do that in different ways, like directly from a RFC connector or a file.
