I didnt notice your question. By this time you must have already solved this.
Well when i was trying to generate client in Netweaver CE i was getting this exception.
I tried everything but it was not working. Then i just created a new workspace and it worked.
Its wierd but that is the solution i found.
I tried everything else. Installed all plugins..But still the error was there.
You can also trying to change the worksapce.
Hope this helps you..

Hi Vladimir
I get the same error when i am trying to generate a client using the Netweaver Developer Studio.
I am creating a Java Project , then importing a wsdl and the i am trying to generate the client.
You have mentioned that i should select SAP server. I have configured it.
I dont get the "Web Service Client" interface.

Hi Pankaj,
This is a known WTP problem. See for example http://www.eclipse.org/webtools/jst/components/ws/M5/news/jst-ws-m5news.html and especially <a href="https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=99728">Bug 99728</a>.
Hopefully, if you select the configuration as "Server: SAP Server" and "Web service runtime: SAP Netweaver" on the first page of the wizard, this should work.
HTH!
